This is a independent Comparison and contrast of 3 of the Seagrams line available in my area. A taste challenge! Both are 80 proof, Canadian blended whiskies and Sazerac Co. brands. Seagram's VO- introduced in 1913.
Seagram's VO vs. Crown Royal Kathleen, Seagrams 7 is/was made from American whiskey unlike VO's Canadian heritage and is blended with GNS (Grain Neutral Spirits, i.e. vodka) VO is a little smoother than 7. They taste about the same mixed, but VO is easier straight or with water. VO is the mid-grade of the Seagrams whiskey line.
